I stopped here with Ulio on the Route 66 trip. The name says Texas, but Big John's is in Page, Arizona, on Lake Powell Boulevard, near Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. It is a converted old gas station, with the smokers sitting out front and tables outside. They take no reservations, you just walk in, and there is live music every night from 6:30pm to 9pm.
